A Valley of Belvoir, an region of spectacular natural beauty (AONB), can be detected around Leicestershire, England. Belvoir Castle, which occupies a dominant position overlooking a Valley, has been a transmissible personal of the Dukes of Rutland for one thousand years. The controversial coalfield development was proposed in the 1970s. It became the subject of a public enquiry in 1979.
